While imagining one of the brilliant minds behind “Mr. Show” as an action hero may seem like a stretch, it turns out to be a stroke of genius as Odenkirk based his violent protagonist with a very particular set of skills in a way no other actor would have missed. He's great as a man trying to leave an abusive past behind, but movies have taught us for generations that that's easier said than done.
“Nobody” opens with a montage of Hutch Mansell's everyday life. Every day, he scans the same transit card; every week, he misses the trash man by a split second. Life is a series of routines, which undermines his marriage to Becca (Connie Nielsen) while providing a relatively happy home for his children, Blake (Gage Munroe) and Abby (Paisley Cadorath).
Hutch works at a manufacturing company owned by his father-in-law Eddie (Michael Ironside) and dominated by his alpha brother-in-law Charlie (Billy MacLellan). Thankfully, writer Derek Kolstad doesn't waste too much time on the existence of suburban normie Hutch, propelling viewers into the action of "Nobody" almost immediately.

Nonton Nobody Subtitle Indonesia – It starts with a house invasion, in which two lower-level crooks rob the Mansell family some shopping money and some knick-knacks. Hutch knocks over one of them, the golf club flying in the air, but he doesn't take the opportunity to escalate the violence, much to his son's chagrin and belittling of his male neighbor. When it appears the assailants have taken poor Abby's cat bracelet, Hutch snaps, tracking them down to retrieve it.
However, “Nobody” isn't really “Death Wish” – it's a good story of an ordinary guy turned vigilante. There are hints early on that Hutch isn't just a normal suburban resident. Even his man cave appears to be styled to hint at different backgrounds from your neighbours, including the radio he uses to talk to his brother Harry (RZA), who is hiding.
Why? And what's with the box of fake IDs and the money that Hutch's father, David (Christopher Lloyd) keeps? When his bracelet picking job goes a bit sideways, Hutch is on a bus heading home when he encounters a group of obnoxious drunks harassing a lone woman. He takes it upon himself to protect her and essentially starts a violent war with a Russian crime lord named Yulian (Aleksey Serebryakov).
